Intro

In the disintegration time test, the time it takes for the tablet (or suppository) to disintegrate is measured. In this machine, the body environment is simulated. The tablet (or suppository) is then placed in baskets embedded in the machine, and in beakers (or water baths) it begins to move linearly (or rotatably) to measure the disintegration time.
